I would have liked to try an Intel, but I wasn't really going for all out performance with the iMac. Granted, it may be a few degrees if I measured, but it feels the same. Temp wasn't my concern so I didn't think to check it before I made the swap. I guess i will use the mbp for another 3 years at least.
